Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who frisks as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill inaugurated his career playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he affiliated the Aston Villa Academy and sustained his change. In 2004, he affiliated Burnley on a season-long loan, where he performed well before returning to do his Aston Villa debut.
