Francesc " Cesc " Fabregas, born 4 May 1987, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a center midfielder for English club Chelsea and the Spain national team.
Fabregas developed through La Masia, Barcelona's youth academy, leaving at 16 when he was signed by English Premier League side Arsenal in September 2003. Following injuries to key midfielders in the early part of the 2004-05 season, he went on demonstrate himself in the team. He cracked several of the club's preserves in the process, paying a reputation as one of the best actors in his position, and won the FA Cup in 2005. On 12 October 2015, Fabregas earned his 100 th detonator for Spain.
