Francesc " Cesc " Fabregas, born 4 May 1987, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a center midfielder for English club Chelsea and the Spain national team.
Fabregas developed through La Masia, Barcelona's youth academy, leaving at 16 when he was signed by English Premier League side Arsenal in September 2003. Following injuries to key midfielders in the early part of the 2004-05 season, he went on fix himself in the team. He undermined various of the club's preserves in the process, paying a stature as one of the best musicians in its own position, and won the FA Cup in 2005. On 12 October 2015, Fabregas payed his 100 th cover for Spain.
