Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who represents as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national unit both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill embarked his occupation playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he participated the Aston Villa Academy and sustained his growing. In 2004, he attached Burnley on a season-long loan, where he play-act long before returning to stimulate his Aston Villa debut. Afterward, he signed for hometown club Sheffield United on a three-month credit deal. On 30 January 2008, he signed for Bolton Wanderers for nearly PS5 million. Cahill played well for Bolton through the years, cementing a sit in the first team and becoming vice-captain. He uttered 130 conference figures and scored 13 organization destinations for Bolton. In January 2012, Cahill ratified for Chelsea for approximately PS7 million. Cahill won the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup in his entry season at Chelsea, and will continue to be acquire the UEFA Europa League, League Cup and Premier League.
Cahill is an England international with over 50 detonators and represented the commonwealth at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He was eligible to play for either England or the Republic of Ireland, but chose to play for England. In June 2009, Cahill was called up to the England squad for the match against Kazakhstan. However, this is the only way became his debut on 3 September 2010, coming on as a substitute against Bulgaria. On 29 March 2011, Cahill became his first start for the national unit in the friendly against Ghana. He orchestrated his first international destination against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
