Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who toy as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national squad both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill embarked his vocation playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he attached the Aston Villa Academy and prolonged his improvement. In 2004, he joined Burnley on a season-long credit, where he acted well before returning to procreate his Aston Villa debut. On 29 March 2011, Cahill formed his first start for the national squad in the friendly against Ghana. He valued his first international goal against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
