Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who dallies as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national crew both of which he vice-captains.

Cahill inaugurated his career playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he participated the Aston Villa Academy and continued his blooming. In 2004, he met Burnley on a season-long credit, where he performed long before returning to draw his Aston Villa debut.
