Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who represents as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national squad both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill began his occupation playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he participated the Aston Villa Academy and continued his growing. In 2004, he met Burnley on a season-long credit, where he played long before returning to become his Aston Villa debut. Afterwards, he signed for hometown association Sheffield United on a three-month credit lot. On 30 January 2008, he signed for Bolton Wanderers for approximately PS5 million. Cahill play-act well for Bolton through its first year, cementing a place in the first team and becoming vice-captain. He manufactured 130 organization appearings and valued 13 conference points for Bolton. In January 2012, Cahill signed for Chelsea for approximately PS7 million. Cahill won the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup in his debut season at Chelsea, and will continue to be triumph the UEFA Europa League, League Cup and Premier League.
Cahill is an England international with over 50 covers and represented the commonwealth at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He was eligible to play for either England or the Republic of Ireland, but chose to play for England. In June 2009, Cahill was called up to the England squad for the match against Kazakhstan. However, he only obliged his introduction on 3 September 2010, coming on as a substitute against Bulgaria. On 29 March 2011, Cahill realized his first start for "the member states national" crew in the friendly against Ghana. He scored his first international destination against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
