Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who frisks as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national squad both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill began his career playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he affiliated the Aston Villa Academy and prolonged his growing. In 2004, he affiliated Burnley on a season-long credit, where he accomplished long before returning to manufacture his Aston Villa debut. However, this is the only way shaped his introduction on 3 September 2010, coming on as a substitute against Bulgaria. On 29 March 2011, Cahill became his first start for the national crew in the friendly against Ghana. He valued his first international aim against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
