Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who represents as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national unit both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill inaugurated his career playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he affiliated the Aston Villa Academy and persisted his growth. In 2004, he attached Burnley on a season-long lend, where he play-act long before returning to establish his Aston Villa debut.
