Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who dallies as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national unit both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill embarked his vocation playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he participated the Aston Villa Academy and continued his occurrence. In 2004, he affiliated Burnley on a season-long loan, where he played well before returning to attain his Aston Villa debut. Eventually, he ratified for hometown squad Sheffield United on a three-month lend spate. On 30 January 2008, he signed for Bolton Wanderers for nearly PS5 million.
