Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team both of which he vice-captains.



Cahill embarked his vocation playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he assembled the Aston Villa Academy and resumed his blooming. In 2004, he attached Burnley on a season-long lend, where he performed well before returning to manufacture his Aston Villa debut.
