Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who represents as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill originated his occupation playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he participated the Aston Villa Academy and persisted his proliferation. In 2004, he met Burnley on a season-long loan, where he play-act long before returning to make his Aston Villa debut. Afterwards, he indicated for hometown fraternity Sheffield United on a three-month credit spate. On 30 January 2008, he ratified for Bolton Wanderers for nearly PS5 million. Cahill accomplished well for Bolton through the years, cementing a target in the first team and becoming vice-captain. He compiled 130 league expressions and tallied 13 organization aims for Bolton. Cahill is an England international with over 50 covers and represented the person at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He was eligible to play for either England or the Republic of Ireland, but chose to play for England. In June 2009, Cahill was called up to the England squad for the equal against Kazakhstan. However, he only represented his entry on 3 September 2010, coming on as a substitute against Bulgaria. On 29 March 2011, Cahill built his first start for the national squad in the friendly against Ghana. He orchestrated his first international goal against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
