Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who represents as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill inaugurated his career playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he assembled the Aston Villa Academy and resumed his development. In 2004, he connected Burnley on a season-long loan, where he play-act long before returning to conclude his Aston Villa debut.
