Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who represents as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national unit both of which he vice-captains.



Cahill originated his profession playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he connected the Aston Villa Academy and prolonged his exploitation. In 2004, he attached Burnley on a season-long credit, where he played well before returning to prepare his Aston Villa debut. Afterward, he signed for hometown team Sheffield United on a three-month loan batch. On 30 January 2008, he ratified for Bolton Wanderers for nearly PS5 million. On 29 March 2011, Cahill formed his first start for "the member states national" crew in the friendly against Ghana. He tallied his first international goal against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
