Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who toy as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team both of which he vice-captains.



Cahill inaugurated his career playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he attached the Aston Villa Academy and sustained his increase. On 29 March 2011, Cahill spawned his first start for the national squad in the friendly against Ghana. He valued his first international goal against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
