Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who plays as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national squad both of which he vice-captains.



Cahill originated his occupation playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he met the Aston Villa Academy and resumed his growing. In 2004, he met Burnley on a season-long credit, where he performed long before returning to become his Aston Villa debut. Eventually, he indicated for hometown squad Sheffield United on a three-month loan lot. On 30 January 2008, he ratified for Bolton Wanderers for approximately PS5 million.
