Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who dallies as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national crew both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill embarked his profession playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he connected the Aston Villa Academy and sustained his occurrence. In 2004, he participated Burnley on a season-long lend, where he performed long before returning to constitute his Aston Villa debut. Eventually, he ratified for hometown squad Sheffield United on a three-month loan spate. On 30 January 2008, he ratified for Bolton Wanderers for nearly PS5 million. Cahill performed well for Bolton through the years, cementing a lieu in the first team and becoming vice-captain. He formed 130 tournament images and orchestrated 13 organization points for Bolton. He was eligible to play for either England or the Republic of Ireland, but chose to play for England. In June 2009, Cahill was called up to the England squad for the competition against Kazakhstan. However, this is the only way spawned his entry on 3 September 2010, coming on as a substitute against Bulgaria. On 29 March 2011, Cahill represented his first start for "the member states national" team in the friendly against Ghana. He valued his first international point against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
