Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who dallies as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill began his occupation playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he attached the Aston Villa Academy and resumed his blooming. In 2004, he attached Burnley on a season-long lend, where he played long before returning to constitute his Aston Villa debut. Eventually, he ratified for hometown organization Sheffield United on a three-month credit spate. On 30 January 2008, he ratified for Bolton Wanderers for approximately PS5 million. Cahill accomplished well for Bolton through its first year, cementing a residence in the first team and becoming vice-captain. He fixed 130 tournament images and composed 13 conference aims for Bolton. In January 2012, Cahill ratified for Chelsea for approximately PS7 million. Cahill won the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup in his debut season at Chelsea, and went on to win the UEFA Europa League, League Cup and Premier League.
Cahill is an England international with over 50 covers and represented the person at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He was eligible to play for either England or the Republic of Ireland, but chose to play for England. In June 2009, Cahill was called up to the England squad for the pair against Kazakhstan. Nonetheless, he only uttered his introduction on 3 September 2010, coming on as a substitute against Bulgaria. On 29 March 2011, Cahill constructed his first start for the national squad in the friendly against Ghana. He tallied his first international purpose against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
