Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who plays as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national crew both of which he vice-captains.

Cahill began his job playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he participated the Aston Villa Academy and prolonged his development. In 2004, he met Burnley on a season-long lend, where he performed long before returning to obligate his Aston Villa debut.
