Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team both of which he vice-captains.



Cahill originated his busines playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he joined the Aston Villa Academy and continued his growing. In 2004, he attached Burnley on a season-long credit, where he accomplished long before returning to originate his Aston Villa debut. Subsequently, he ratified for hometown golf-club Sheffield United on a three-month loan transaction. On 30 January 2008, he indicated for Bolton Wanderers for nearly PS5 million.
