Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who frisks as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national unit both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill embarked his job playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he connected the Aston Villa Academy and persisted his growth. In 2004, he attached Burnley on a season-long lend, where he play-act long before returning to clear his Aston Villa debut. Eventually, he indicated for hometown guild Sheffield United on a three-month loan transaction. On 30 January 2008, he indicated for Bolton Wanderers for nearly PS5 million. Cahill acted well for Bolton through its first year, cementing a plaza in the first team and becoming vice-captain. He represented 130 tournament expressions and scored 13 tournament goals for Bolton. In January 2012, Cahill signed for Chelsea for approximately PS7 million. Cahill won the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup in his debut season at Chelsea, and went on to triumph the UEFA Europa League, League Cup and Premier League.
Cahill is an England international with over 50 covers and represented the person at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He was eligible to play for either England or the Republic of Ireland, but chose to play for England. In June 2009, Cahill was called up to the England squad for the competition against Kazakhstan. However, he only spawned his entry on 3 September 2010, coming on as a substitute against Bulgaria. On 29 March 2011, Cahill obligated his first start for "the member states national" squad in the friendly against Ghana. He valued his first international purpose against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
