David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who frisks for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national squad. Mainly a center defender, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he moved to Benfica, continuing with the organization five seasons( three terminated ). He met Chelsea in January 2011, triumphing the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and winning the UEFA Europa League the following season.
