Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national unit both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill originated his occupation playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he assembled the Aston Villa Academy and persisted his change. In 2004, he attached Burnley on a season-long lend, where he performed well before returning to construct his Aston Villa debut. Eventually, he ratified for hometown organization Sheffield United on a three-month loan cope. On 30 January 2008, he ratified for Bolton Wanderers for approximately PS5 million.
