Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who dallies as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill began his occupation playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he met the Aston Villa Academy and persisted his blooming. In 2004, he assembled Burnley on a season-long lend, where he performed well before returning to represent his Aston Villa debut. Later, he ratified for hometown club Sheffield United on a three-month loan cope. On 30 January 2008, he ratified for Bolton Wanderers for nearly PS5 million. Cahill played well for Bolton through the years, cementing a home in the first team and becoming vice-captain. He compiled 130 conference impressions and tallied 13 organization points for Bolton. In January 2012, Cahill signed for Chelsea for nearly PS7 million. Cahill won the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup in his introduction season at Chelsea, and went on to prevail the UEFA Europa League, League Cup and Premier League.
Cahill is an England international with over 50 covers and represented the society at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He was eligible to play for either England or the Republic of Ireland, but chose to play for England. In June 2009, Cahill was called up to the England squad for the pair against Kazakhstan. Nonetheless, he only saw his introduction on 3 September 2010, coming on as a substitute against Bulgaria. On 29 March 2011, Cahill obliged his first start for "the member states national" team in the friendly against Ghana. He valued his first international aim against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
