Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who represents as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team both of which he vice-captains.



Cahill originated his career playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he assembled the Aston Villa Academy and continued his progress. In 2004, he connected Burnley on a season-long lend, where he played long before returning to impel his Aston Villa debut.
