Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who represents as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill inaugurated his job playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he affiliated the Aston Villa Academy and continued his blooming. In 2004, he met Burnley on a season-long lend, where he played long before returning to conclude his Aston Villa debut. Afterward, he indicated for hometown squad Sheffield United on a three-month credit slew. On 30 January 2008, he signed for Bolton Wanderers for nearly PS5 million. Cahill acted well for Bolton through its first year, cementing a region in the first team and becoming vice-captain. He made 130 league forms and composed 13 conference goals for Bolton. In January 2012, Cahill indicated for Chelsea for approximately PS7 million. Cahill won the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup in his debut season at Chelsea, and went on to triumph the UEFA Europa League, League Cup and Premier League.
Cahill is an England international with over 50 caps and represented the society at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He was eligible to play for either England or the Republic of Ireland, but chose to play for England. In June 2009, Cahill was called up to the England squad for the accord against Kazakhstan. Nonetheless, this is the only way determined his debut on 3 September 2010, coming on as a substitute against Bulgaria. On 29 March 2011, Cahill determined his first start for "the member states national" crew in the friendly against Ghana. He valued his first international objective against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
