Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who dallies as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team both of which he vice-captains.



Cahill embarked his vocation playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he joined the Aston Villa Academy and resumed his developing. In 2004, he connected Burnley on a season-long lend, where he play-act well before returning to manufacture his Aston Villa debut. Subsequently, he indicated for hometown fraternity Sheffield United on a three-month credit bargain. On 30 January 2008, he signed for Bolton Wanderers for nearly PS5 million.
