Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who dallies as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national squad both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill began his vocation playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he assembled the Aston Villa Academy and continued his progress. In 2004, he met Burnley on a season-long loan, where he play-act well before returning to compile his Aston Villa debut. Afterward, he signed for hometown club Sheffield United on a three-month lend treat. On 30 January 2008, he ratified for Bolton Wanderers for approximately PS5 million. On 29 March 2011, Cahill became his first start for the national team in the friendly against Ghana. He scored his first international objective against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
