David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who toy for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national team. Principally a central guard, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he endeavoured to Benfica, persisting with the society five seasons( three ended ). He attached Chelsea in January 2011, acquiring the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and winning the UEFA Europa League the following season. In June 2014, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for a cost of PS50 million( EUR6 2 million ), a world evidence transportation for a defender , and triumphed all four domestic competitors in his first season in French football. He returned to Chelsea in August 2016 in a PS30 million carry.



David Luiz formed his full international debut for Brazil in 2010 and has since deserved over 50 ceilings. He was a member of the Brazilian crews which won the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and reached the semi-finals of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
