David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who represents for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national squad. Principally a center guard, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he endeavoured to Benfica, abiding with the organization five seasons( three ended ). He assembled Chelsea in January 2011, winning the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and earning the UEFA Europa League the following season.
