Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who dallies as service centres back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill embarked his busines playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he connected the Aston Villa Academy and sustained his developing. In 2004, he connected Burnley on a season-long lend, where he played well before returning to stimulate his Aston Villa debut. Subsequently, he ratified for hometown squad Sheffield United on a three-month credit spate. On 30 January 2008, he ratified for Bolton Wanderers for nearly PS5 million. Cahill acted well for Bolton through its first year, cementing a lieu in the first team and becoming vice-captain. He impelled 130 organization forms and orchestrated 13 organization destinations for Bolton. In January 2012, Cahill signed for Chelsea for approximately PS7 million. Cahill won the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup in his debut season at Chelsea, and went on to win the UEFA Europa League, League Cup and Premier League.
Cahill is an England international with over 50 covers and represented the commonwealth at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He was eligible to play for either England or the Republic of Ireland, but chose to play for England. In June 2009, Cahill was called up to the England squad for the competition against Kazakhstan. Nonetheless, this is the only way moved his debut on 3 September 2010, coming on as a substitute against Bulgaria. On 29 March 2011, Cahill uttered his first start for "the member states national" unit in the friendly against Ghana. He tallied his first international aim against Bulgaria in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier.
