Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who frisks as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill originated his busines playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he joined the Aston Villa Academy and continued his growing. In 2004, he participated Burnley on a season-long loan, where he acted well before returning to do his Aston Villa debut. Afterward, he signed for hometown sorority Sheffield United on a three-month loan cope. On 30 January 2008, he indicated for Bolton Wanderers for approximately PS5 million. Cahill played well for Bolton through its first year, cementing a residence in the first team and becoming vice-captain. He built 130 league illusions and scored 13 organization destinations for Bolton. In January 2012, Cahill ratified for Chelsea for approximately PS7 million. Cahill is an England international with over 50 covers and represented the commonwealth at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He was eligible to play for either England or the Republic of Ireland, but chose to play for England. In June 2009, Cahill was called up to the England squad for the competitor against Kazakhstan. However, this is the only way did his entry on 3 September 2010, coming on as a substitute against Bulgaria. On 29 March 2011, Cahill made his first start for "the member states national" crew in the friendly against Ghana.
