David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who represents for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national unit. Mainly a primary advocate, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.

After starting out at Vitoria, he moved to Benfica, continuing with the squad five seasons( three complete ). He attached Chelsea in January 2011, acquiring the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and winning the UEFA Europa League the following items season. In June 2014, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for a reward of PS50 million( EUR6 2 million ), a macrocosm register assign for human rights defenders , and earned all four domestic competitors in his first season in French football. He returned to Chelsea in August 2016 in a PS30 million transport.
