David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national unit. Principally a central follower, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he endeavoured to Benfica, abiding with the organization five seasons( three ended ). He met Chelsea in January 2011, prevailing the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and winning the UEFA Europa League the following items season.
