David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who dallies for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national squad. Principally a center defender, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he moved to Benfica, abiding with the association five seasons( three terminated ). He affiliated Chelsea in January 2011, triumphing the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and winning the UEFA Europa League the following season. In June 2014, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for a cost of PS50 million( EUR6 two million ), a macrocosm account transpose for human rights defenders , and earned all four domestic competitors in his first season in French football.
