Thibaut Nicolas Marc Courtois( Dutch accent:[ tibo kurtwa ]; French pronunciation:[ tibo kuRtwa ]; born 11 May 1992) is a Belgian professional footballer who represents as a goalkeeper for English Premier League club Chelsea and the Belgium national team



Courtois graduated through the youth organization of Genk, and aged 18, he toy a key role in the team's Belgian Pro League victory. In July 2011 he affiliated Chelsea for a reported PS8 million, and was immediately loaned to Atletico Madrid. In three seasons there, he won the Europa League in 2012, the Copa del Rey in 2013 and the La Liga title in 2014.
