David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who frisks for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national squad. Chiefly a center guard, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he endeavoured to Benfica, standing with the society five seasons( three ended ). He participated Chelsea in January 2011, earning the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and acquiring the UEFA Europa League the following season.
