David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who dallies for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national team. Chiefly a primary champion, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he moved to Benfica, standing with the squad five seasons( three ended ). He joined Chelsea in January 2011, prevailing the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and acquiring the UEFA Europa League the following season.
