David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who represents for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national unit. Principally a central defender, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.
After starting out at Vitoria, he moved to Benfica, continuing with the golf-club five seasons( three terminated ). He met Chelsea in January 2011, triumphing the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and winning the UEFA Europa League the following items season. In June 2014, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for a cost of PS50 million( EUR6 two million ), a nature register carry for human rights defenders , and won all four domestic contenders in his first season in French football. He returned to Chelsea in August 2016 in a PS30 million displace.
