David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who represents for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national team. Mainly a center defender, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he moved to Benfica, persisting with the team five seasons( three terminated ). He affiliated Chelsea in January 2011, acquiring the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and acquiring the UEFA Europa League the following items season. In June 2014, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for a reward of PS50 million( EUR6 2 million ), a life register movement for human rights defenders , and won all four domestic contenders in his first season in French football.
