David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who toy for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national crew. Principally a center guard, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he moved to Benfica, remaining with the club five seasons( three ended ). He met Chelsea in January 2011, prevailing the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and acquiring the UEFA Europa League the following items season. In June 2014, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for a reward of PS50 million( EUR6 2 million ), a macrocosm register give for human rights defenders , and earned all four domestic races in his first season in French football.
