David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who dallies for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national squad. Chiefly a central guard, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he endeavoured to Benfica, continuing with the association five seasons( three ended ). He attached Chelsea in January 2011, triumphing the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and earning the UEFA Europa League the following items season.
