David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who toy for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national squad. Primarily a central follower, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he moved to Benfica, persisting with the team five seasons( three terminated ). He participated Chelsea in January 2011, acquiring the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and prevailing the UEFA Europa League the following season.
