David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who represents for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national squad. Chiefly a central guard, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.

After starting out at Vitoria, he endeavoured to Benfica, continuing with the association five seasons( three complete ). He affiliated Chelsea in January 2011, earning the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and acquiring the UEFA Europa League the following season.
