David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who dallies for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national team. Chiefly a center champion, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he moved to Benfica, remaining with the club five seasons( three terminated ). He joined Chelsea in January 2011, triumphing the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and prevailing the UEFA Europa League the following items season. In June 2014, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for a reward of PS50 million( EUR6 two million ), a world-wide chronicle transfer for human rights defenders , and won all four domestic events in his first season in French football.
