David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who represents for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national crew. Primarily a central follower, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.
After starting out at Vitoria, he moved to Benfica, persisting with the team five seasons( three ended ). He joined Chelsea in January 2011, acquiring the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and triumphing the UEFA Europa League the following items season. In June 2014, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of PS50 million( EUR6 two million ), a world-wide annal move for human rights defenders , and triumphed all four domestic events in his first season in French football. He returned to Chelsea in August 2016 in a PS30 million transport.
David Luiz established his full international debut for Brazil in 2010 and has since given over 50 caps. He was a member of the Brazilian squads which won the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and reached the semi-finals of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
