David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national squad. Mainly a center follower, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.
After starting out at Vitoria, he moved to Benfica, persisting with the sorority five seasons( three ended ). He joined Chelsea in January 2011, prevailing the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and prevailing the UEFA Europa League the following items season. In June 2014, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for a cost of PS50 million( EUR6 2 million ), a life preserve transmit for a defender , and earned all four domestic challengers in his first season in French football.
