David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who dallies for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national squad. Principally a central advocate, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he endeavoured to Benfica, persisting with the golf-club five seasons( three complete ). He attached Chelsea in January 2011, prevailing the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and triumphing the UEFA Europa League the following season. In June 2014, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for a cost of PS50 million( EUR6 two million ), a macrocosm preserve transfer for a defender , and prevailed all four domestic rivals in his first season in French football. He returned to Chelsea in August 2016 in a PS30 million delivery.



David Luiz constituted his full international debut for Brazil in 2010 and has since made over 50 ceilings. He was a member of the Brazilian crews which won the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and reached the semi-finals of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
