David Luiz Moreira Marinho( born 22 April 1987 ), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who toy for English club Chelsea and the Brazil national unit. Chiefly a primary guard, he can also be deployed as a defensive midfielder.



After starting out at Vitoria, he moved to Benfica, remaining with the guild five seasons( three ended ). He connected Chelsea in January 2011, acquiring the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup during 2011-12 season and earning the UEFA Europa League the following items season.
