Gary James Cahill /' keIhIl/( born 19 December 1985) is an English professional footballer who frisks as a centre back for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national crew both of which he vice-captains.
Cahill began his occupation playing for the AFC Dronfield youth system in Derbyshire. In 2000, he connected the Aston Villa Academy and persisted his development. In 2004, he joined Burnley on a season-long loan, where he played well before returning to establish his Aston Villa debut. Eventually, he signed for hometown club Sheffield United on a three-month lend slew. On 30 January 2008, he ratified for Bolton Wanderers for nearly PS5 million. Cahill performed well for Bolton through the years, cementing a place in the first team and becoming vice-captain. He reached 130 league looks and orchestrated 13 tournament destinations for Bolton. In January 2012, Cahill signed for Chelsea for nearly PS7 million. Cahill won the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup in his introduction season at Chelsea, and went on to acquire the UEFA Europa League, League Cup and Premier League.
Cahill is an England international with over 50 detonators and represented the society at the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He was eligible to play for either England or the Republic of Ireland, but chose to play for England. In June 2009, Cahill was called up to the England squad for the join against Kazakhstan.
